Challenges: BNSFL is an international transportation brokerage company with a deep history tied to the earliest forms of transportation. As a business that relies on efficiency, they found they needed to upgrade their systems and processes and leverage new technologies to increase efficiency even more. Their goal is big: to become the transportation company that is easiest for large companies (some of the biggest superstores in the nation) to work with. However, they didn’t have the in-house staff or knowledge to achieve this alone.
Outcome: Since 2016, Spinakr Solutions has been a trusted advisor for BNSFL. Our first project was to find a better solution to replace their paper management system when working with delivery drivers. We consulted with them to discover their needs and built a mobile logistics management application that significantly simplified their fleet management process and digitized their paperwork process. Since then, we continue to offer a relationship of ongoing support. We have helped create and develop new systems to replace old antiquated processes, provided staff augmentation to execute on projects such as .net developers who build code, and function as their entire development support staff--when they have feature requests, systems errors, or changes needed, we deliver.
This ongoing support has helped BNSFL get closer to their goal of making it easy for customers to work with them. And with the new technology we have helped implement, the company has significantly reduced costs, manual processes, and hours tracking down data.
